Olive oil has been produced and used for thousands of years. Olive oil was produced in Crete as early as the Minoan civilization, 3000 BC. The microclimate of Archanes is ideal for the trees and greatly enhances the quality of our olive oil. During the season, our olive groves receive all the care necessary for a high quality olive. The olives from our groves are of the Koroneiki variety. Despite the small olive, it has a high quality oil yield.

We start harvesting the first olives from about mid-October. Our olives are picked by hand according to family tradition. Because picked olives deteriorate quickly, we bring them to our production facility immediately after harvest.

Once we arrive at our production facility, our olives are first thoroughly cleaned. Twigs and leaves are removed and the olives are washed. Only the finest olives are selected from which Extra Virgin Olive Oil is extracted solely by mechanical means through cold pressing without the addition of any kind of chemicals or additives.

This process results in an Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a distinctive taste and character. It has an intense fruity flavor, a trait that is characteristic of the microclimate of the region, with a mild bitter and pungent aftertaste. Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil offers a balanced taste experience which makes it ideal for daily use in your cooking.
